716 Patriots Testimonials

The 716 Patriots Travel Baseball program takes great pride in providing not just a healthy baseball atmosphere, but a family-friendly atmosphere. Here are some comments from some of our families in our organization.

“I enjoy watching the 716 Patriots organization continually improve week to week at our indoor place!

Great coaching and teaching of the game, both with skills and being good teammates!

Very good organization and will only get better.”

Jim Pernick Jr.
Head Trainer and part owner at All in Sports

“Our family has been a part of the 716 organization now for two years. We have never felt so at home. The owners are super friendly and very caring. The coaches are super knowledgeable and always fair to each of the players. They are always coming up with new ways to better each and every player. We truly wouldn’t want to be with any other organization.”

“Being a player on the 716 Patriots is probably the best decision I've ever made.  The 716 Patriots team is fun, players pick each other up, and we get together and do fun things.  We do things like wiffleball, waterparks, etc.

I switched to the Patriots from a team that was unorganized and not teaching me anything and now I am on a team that when you make a mistake the coaches teaches you until you understand and know how to do it properly.

The head coach, Coach Pete, is amazing and is the best coach and inspiring to the team.  The 3 assistant coaches help out a lot too.”

Liam, 12u team captain

Coach E is a great coach and an even better guy. He is, of course, focused on make sure the boys learn the game and are the best baseball players they can be. But Coach E also teaches these young boys the important parts of becoming a man. Simple things like a good strong handshake and making eye contact; things that we try to tell them as parents but mean more when they come from him. He makes sure the kids know when they do something wrong and how to be better. It also means a lot to the boys when he tells them that he is proud of them, because they respect him. He and his wife Kara have done a lot to build team unity and bring parents together to make sure we are all part of the 716 Patriots team.

“When my son made the decision to try out for this organization, we walked in with open minds and not sure what to expect.  What we actually got was an entire learning experience from the moment I registered my son.

When we got there it wasn't just "let's see what you got" it was an actual lesson.  No matter where my son was and what he was doing (fielding, hitting, catching, running), there was a lesson that went with it.  The coach running the try out took the time to do that with EVERY child that showed up. There was no yelling, screaming, negativity just amazing learning opportunities.  We happened to be blessed enough for the coach to see potential in my son to take him on to the team.  We were blessed a second time when we realized that Coach Pete was going to be his actual coach. Coach Pete has taught my son so many things on and off the field.  He has taught him how to be a great teammate, a fantastic team player, an actual respectable pre-teen boy, and of course how to make chapstick rockets, because fun is always needed.  On this team, you are not left out of anything. No child is singled out in the huddle, but any mistake is a learning opportunity for all.

This organization is beyond all compare. Because I am a biased parent, our 12u team is without a doubt the best family anyone could ask for.  When they say it takes a village - we rise to the occasion.  Not only do the boys have an amazing friendship with each other, but there is not a sibling that is left out either.  At our most recent out of state tournament, our sibling girls had matching shirts and cheered for their brothers and the other boys as well.  I think they had just as much fun as the players did also!”

“My family started as an opponent of the 716 Patriots, and my son’s team played them many times over a season. Those matchups had such an impact that my son would leave the league he had played for since age 4 to join Coach Pete's 10u Travel program. In my time with the 716 Organization on and off the field, all the qualities and characteristics of an organization that cares about the players and families can be seen. It is not always about winning, it is about learning and growing. Coach Pete's dedication to the development of his players, the advancement of their skills, and commitment to growth, not only in baseball but in all of life's endeavors is unmatched and unwavering. It is also the qualities expected in all the coaches in the organization.

I could go on and on about Coach Pete and the 716 Organization, like the Health & Safety program that trains players and parents in First aid & CPR, dietary and nutrition coach that teaches how to take care of the body, and mental training coach who teaches the players about mental prep and mind set for all life's challenges. I have watched many of the teams and all the qualities and characteristics of the organization are always present. All in all, being part of this organization is more than just baseball, it is a way of life.”

“My brother, has played under Coach Pete for almost 3 years and I can say that choosing to play and being a part of the 716 Patriots family is a choice that we will make over and over again. My brother is a pitcher and has learned a lot from Coach Pete. Being a pitcher himself Pete is very good with working with the boys and being careful to make sure that none of his kids overwork themselves. Coach always makes sure that every kid plays on the field and every kid has a chance to sit and take a break. 716 welcomed my family and made us a part of the team very quickly. They have a commitment to health and safety that I have never seen before, evidenced by their med bags and AED units for each team. They also certify parents and players in First AID/AED each year. 716 is the most inclusive and most kid centered baseball organizations I have ever seen. 716 is also completely focused on the kids, on and off the field. Besides baseball training, the teams worked with a dietician and Emotional Intelligence Coach. I saw first hand how much the boys learned from their off-season sessions and conversations with Jalen Law during their games. He encouraged them on how to keep a positive mindset and deal with the frustrations of the game. This organization is full of amazing people. Parents, siblings, coaches and players included. I'm so grateful to the 716 Patriots because they have helped my brother become the player that he is and, because they have become a close part of our family.”

“Great organization, great role models, and great families! Pete, and Erik provide a great level of knowledge and detail. I would highly recommend 716 Patriots Baseball. Both our boys have made friends for a lifetime. We truly appreciate our time with the organization.”
